Del Puckett

Del Puckett has been guitar player for over 35 years. With a long career as a musician, two solo records, studio guitarist, always in a band and even featured in Guitar Player Magazine.  In 1999 Del discovered he also had a passion for building guitars. 18 years later he's still at it, only now his focus is on the 3-string Cigar Box Guitar. He continues to dial in his methods and make each Cigar Box Guitar better and more unique than the last.  Del typically incorporates industrial materials into his design (using the threads of a screw as the nut, or a door hinge as the bridge). Del pays close attention to detail to ensure the guitar plays and sounds its absolute best. His Cigar Box Guitars really do stand out in quality, creativity and design. He is a pioneer in individually unique fretboard design incorporating just intonation, pentatonic plus (blues scale) and just tempered (hybrid between just intonation and equal tempered).
